The rubber-lined butterfly valve’s disc-shaped butterfly plate is positioned in the pipeline’s diameter direction within the cylindrical channel of the valve body. The plate rotates around its axis, with a rotation angle ranging from 0° to 90°; when rotated to 90°, the valve is fully open. Typically, this type of rubber-lined butterfly valve should be installed horizontally in pipelines. Comprising a rubber-sealed butterfly valve and a carbon steel or stainless steel valve plate and stem, the entire assembly is suitable for applications such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petroleum, power generation, textiles, paper production and other water supply and drainage systems as well as gas pipelines for flow regulation and media intercept.
